After decades of growth and prosperity, in 1946 Nelson Taylor passed away, leaving behind an incredible legacy of success. Following in his father’s footsteps, the torch was handed to his son, Willard Taylor — who set out to push our company’s capabilities further than ever through technology, design, improved manufacturing processes, and product development.
Recognizing great opportunity in a flourishing recreational boating market, Willard helped put Taylor Made’s name on the map within the marine industry — leading us into an age of canvas covers and tops, acrylic windshields, vinyl fenders, and more.
