Large open areas, such as cockpits and open bows, require support to keep the cover from sagging and allowing water, snow, or ice to pocket. Use boat cover support poles, bows or slats, or other apparatus to create a tenting effect to eliminate pockets from forming.

Taylor branded fenders such as HullGards, SuperGards, StormGards and Big B’s must meet this simple criteria: The fender has split or burst from normal use and damage is not the result of a knife cut or puncture from sharp object.

Tuff End Fenders and Buoys carry a one-year warranty. If the fender/buoy is damaged from either a split or burst and is less than a year old, please call us at 800-628-5188 to obtain a Returns Goods Authorization (RGA) # before they are returned to Taylor Made Products. Products returned without an RGA# will be refused, and the product will be returned to sender. To receive and RGA#, call us at 1-800-628-5188.
The valve on this fender requires the use of a high-pressure air pump. We suggest using a pump with an output of 20-30 psi. Recommended inflation of the Tuff End Fenders and Buoys is 2 psi. These fenders and buoys are manufactured with our patented Trivalve. It requires a decent amount of air pressure to move the air through the valve so that it escapes the positive check valve (the black sleeve at the bottom of the valve) Please note that the hole where the air escapes into the buoy is on the side of the white valve tube, underneath the rubber sleeve. Higher air pressure helps the air escape out of this hole. Please contact Taylor Made Customer Service if you have additional questions.
The combination of height and length determine how much shade your BiminBoaTop® will provide. But first, think about how you use your boat, and what areas you want to shade. For example: if you want to shade yourself or family and friends in the back, you’ll want to order the longest top in medium height. If you’re using your boat primarily for fishing, you’ll probably prefer a smaller, taller bimini cover to provide shade and allow space to maneuver. Likewise, skiing and wake boarding boats will want shade for the driver and spotter, so a shorter, lower bimini is a practical choice.
Wash your bimini top with mild soap or detergent. Shake out dusty bimini fabric or use a garden hose to spray off dirt and debris. You can even use compressed air for hard to clean spots.
