TAYLOR MADE PRODUCTS ADDS NEW CANVAS PRODUCTS TO LINE OF PONTOON ACCESSORIES
GLOVERSVILLE, N.Y. Ð February 6, 2008 Ð Taylor Made Products has introduced three new canvas products to their growing line of pontoon accessories.
The Pontoon Top Shade mounts to the front end
of the boat and provides a quick and easy way to gain additional shade while
protecting vinyl seating from the sunÕs harmful UV rays as well as dirt,
debris, wind and moisture. It fastens to the existing front bow of the bimini
or hard top and extends down to the playpen area. Secured by adjustable straps
and quick release buckles for fast, simple installation, the shade folds down
easily for compact storage.
Available in nine colors and sizes to accommodate boats up to 102 inches in width, the Pontoon Top Shade provides up to 12 feet of coverage.
The new Pontoon Enclosure fits securely over the bow area of any pontoon boat, offering extended comfort and convenience while enjoying a day on the water or relaxing at the dock. It is constructed of durable, fire-retardant polyester fabric, features a zippered entryway, mesh windows and is supported by a shock-corded fiberglass pole framework. Manufactured in sizes to fit both 96-inch- and 102-inch-wide boats, the enclosure is designed to be compatible with an existing bimini or canvas top. It measures approximately 56 inches deep by 74 inches tall, varying slightly depending on beam and rail height.
Offered in multiple colors to best match any existing bimini or canvas, the kit comes complete with enclosure, frame, marine-grade hardware, storage bag and instructions.
Taylor Made Products has also developed a support system for pontoon boat covers. Consisting of two adjustable support poles, polypropylene webbing, adjuster buckles and molded hooks, the system installs easily to shape the boat cover and prevent water from pocketing.
Constructed of bright-dip anodized metal, the support poles feature ends that snap into place. The webbing is 60 feet long and one inch thick. The adjuster buckles have a quick-release mechanism and the injection-molded hooks attach to the decking to provide a sturdy, secure fit.
