Bay Creek Resort & club installs Taylor Made Products' Dock edging on New Marina

GLOVERSVILLE, N.Y. – August 8, 2006 – Bay Creek Resort & Club, a brand new community on Virginia's Eastern Shore, has installed perimeter dock edging from Taylor Made Products throughout its premier new marina located on King's Creek in Cape Charles, Va.

Unlike other dock edging products, which are often made of vinyl, PVC or rubber, the Taylor Made dock bumpers are manufactured with an easy-to-clean polyester textile cover and closed-cell foam inner cushion for added padding and protection. The bumpers will not deteriorate in the sun, or mar boat surfaces. Available in profiles of up to 50 feet and flexible enough to mount on curves or around corners, the bumpers can be custom sized to fit virtually any dock.

The Bay Creek Marina boasts single loaded floating docks with slips ranging in size from 35 feet to 70 feet and can accommodate boats up to 150 feet. Once completed, the marina will feature nearly 20,000 feet of Taylor Made Products' perimeter dock edging on every one of its 224 slips.

"We selected the dock edging from Taylor Made because of its durability and appearance. Even the white vinyl edging stains and mildews, however the edging from Taylor Made holds up a lot better and is more forgiving on the boats," said Joe Habel, director of operations and harbormaster at Bay Creek Marina. "It has a lot more flexibility, is less susceptible to staining and doesn't leave marks."
