FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:
TAYLORBRITE INTERIOR LIGHTS PRODUCE MORE ILLUMINATION
WITH LESS POWER, LOWER HEAT AND LESS INTERFERENCE
GLOVERSVILLE, NY- March 29, 2005 - Taylorbrite has introduced a new family of cold-cathode fluorescent (CCF) interior lights for mobile communication vans and other specialized military vehicles and shelters requiring low power consumption and very low levels of electromagnetic interference.
Taylorbrite’s proprietary CCF technology provides nearly twice the illumination per watt of hot-cathode fluorescent lights, and four to five times that of incandescent and halogen fixtures. They operate at just above ambient temperature, generating very little additional heat load for enclosed spaces. They have a lifespan of over 25,000 hours – more than 25 times greater than incandescent and halogen lights.
The proprietary CCF ballasts permit operation over a wide range of voltages and are extremely tolerant of voltage fluctuations. They conform to IEC 945 and EN 55015 EMI/RFI standards for electromagnetic compatibility.
The Taylorbrite fixtures are offered in a wide range of shapes and configurations, including flat fixtures for overhead mounting and reading-style lights for desktop installations.
Taylorbrite is a joint venture between Taylor Made Technologies LLC and Everbrite, Inc. A member of the Taylor Made Group, based in Gloversville, New York, Taylorbrite provides innovative lighting solutions for the marine and vehicular markets. Everbrite, based in Greefield, Wisconsin, is a leader in the development of cold cathode fluorescent and electronic ballast technology.
