N.Y. March 5, 2008 The new Storm Surge Anchor System from Taylor Made
Products safely attaches three anchors together while allowing up to three
lines back to the moored boat, offering greater strength and stability during
extreme weather conditions and rough seas.
This new product allows users to place multiple anchors, bracket them together with a swivel and then run two or three lines back to a yacht or catamaran, said Dave Karpinski, vice president of marketing for Taylor Made Products. This allows the boat to swivel on the anchors in harsh marine environments without tangling the anchor chains or lines.
Strong and easy to handle, the Taylor Made Storm Surge Anchor System features monohull and multihull models for more precise anchorage in preparation for a storm. The system is hot dip galvanized for maximum corrosion protection and is available with standard eyebolt shackles or with safety shackles that use nuts and cotter pins.
